LES MILLS CERTIFICATION & NEW ZEALAND CERTIFICATE IN PRE-CHOREOGRAPHED EXERCISE (LEVEL 3)
After completing initial training and spending time honing the basics of delivering a safe, effective workout in your program - It's time to apply for certification! This is also the final step in achieving the NZ Certificate in Pre-choreographed Exercise (Level 3) through Te Mahi Ako and NZQA, giving you a nationally-recognised qualification that allows you to join the NZ Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs).

- Apply to teach classes in your program at any Les Mills licensed facility
- Receive support and guidance from Les Mills New Zealand via the LMNZ Facebook Group and Online Webinars

- Book and attend UNITED LIVE and GROUNDWORKS events in your area

To ensure we can help award you with the NZ Certificate please ensure you:
- Download and print the attestation form
- Write your Name, Program and Club on the form
- Tick the Section A - Health and Safety Question
- Give to your GFM/Coordinator for their signature at the bottom
- *Please ensure you or your GFM/Coordinator emails the attestation form back to [email protected]
- LMNZ Assessors for Te Mahi Ako will complete the rest!

HOW TO APPLY FOR CERTIFICATION

- Milly will receive your application and reach out to you directly for next steps .

- LES MILLS DANCE Any format
- LES MILLS GRIT (Strength & Cardio only) Full 30min workout

- LES MILLS TONE 45 or 30min format
- RPM 55 or 45min format
- THE TRIP Full workout
GUIDELINES FOR FILMING
You can film during a regularly scheduled class or set up a special class time (in a licensed facility). You must have at least visible 3 participants in your class at all times. You will receive a grade for Connection and Performance and your assessor will need to see your participants and how they are reacting and responding in order to provide feedback for these two Key Elements.
Videos submitted without the minimum required visible participants will be declined.
You can film during a regularly scheduled class or set up a special class time (in a licensed facility). You must have at least visible 3 participants in your class at all times. You will receive a grade for Connection and Performance and your assessor will need to see your participants and how they are reacting and responding in order to provide feedback for these two Key Elements.

- Teach a class using a release from the 4 most recent releases. Please only use one release
- You are the only instructor in front of the class – no shadows please
- Set up the camera directly in front or at a 45 degree angle to you. Your assessor will need to see you completely from head to toe throughout the entire class
- Your assessment video should be one full class with no breaks in filming
- Do not have the Choreography Notes or Masterclass video visible anywhere in the room. If you are following the notes or video, your video will be declined
- Be sure to keep a copy of your video for reference and personal development
- Please film your class with the lights on so that the assessor can see you - the exception being THE TRIP.
